The Anglican Theological Institute 2016-2017


The Anglican Theological Institute has completed its first year with more than 60 students completing.

The Institute is an excellent tool to teach our people, to increase their knowledge and understanding of their God and to prepare them to take their full place in the mission and ministry in the diocese.

The Anglican Theological Institute will open its academic year on September 3rd with an orientation for new students. Courses for first and second year students will begin on September 14th (10 weeks).

2016-2017 Academic Year
  1. Registration/Application (first year student only - $25.00)
  2. Deadline for Applications: Friday, 5th August
  3. Fees to be paid directly to Royal Bank Acct ($250.00 per term)
  4. Receipt of bank deposit to be recorded and copied by Mrs. Carol Hanna at St. Barnabas Church or Rev. Roach-Hepburn at The Pro-Cathedral of Christ the King
  5. Deadline for payment: Friday, 26th August for first term
  6. 3rd September Orientation at 9:00 a.m. (St. Barnabas, The Pro- Cathedral of Christ the King, St. Monica (Providenciales), other venues TBA
  7. Term dates:10th September - 3rd December Classes
  8. Class Schedule/Courses offered
The following courses will be offered for first year students:
  • Christian Spirituality Rev. Roach-Hepburn,
  • New Testament Archbishop Gomez,
  • Old Testament Canon Basil Tynes
  • Church History Bishop Thompson
The following courses will be offered for second year students:
  • New Testament Archbishop Gomez,
  • Old Testament Canon Basil Tynes,
  • Christian Doctrine Fr. Roderick Bain
  • Liturgy and Worship Canon C. Walkine
Anglicans and non-Anglicans are asked to consider enrolling in the Institute, even if it is only to do one course.
