  Doing good is not easy. Doing evil is very easy.

For it is better to suffer for doing good, if suffering should be God's will, than to suffer for doing evil. For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, in order to bring you to God. He was put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit, in which also he went and made a proclamation to the spirits in prison, who in former times did not obey, when God waited patiently in the days of Noah, during the building of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were saved through water.  Read more



Mothering Sunday Service and Procession



Sunday School Children, Teachers and Parents participate in a service at the Cathedral and a Procession to the Eastern Parade. (Sunday, March 26th, 2017)


The Altar Guild of the Bahamas Celebrates its 25th Anniversary


The Altar Guild had four days of celebration to commemorate their 25th anniversary at Christ Church Cathedral, Nassau, Bahamas. On Tuesday March 14th, they were all part of a Mass, Workshop and Forum. Click the link below to see more pictures.


St Andrew's Secondary School Chamber Choir visits the Cathedral


St Andrew's Secondary School Chamber Choir visits the Cathedral at the 11:15 am service and shares beautiful choral music with the congregation. The choir is directed by Jacqueline Petersen (Associate Organist at the Cathedral and Music Teacher).


                             



Bible Study
Be a part of the bible study group that meets with Dean Adderley. Sessions begin Wednesday, May 24th, 2017 at 6 pm. Come out and be inspired.


The Bel Canto Singers
Enjoy great singing of sacred and secular choral works by the Bel Canto Singers on Saturday, May 27th, 2017 at 8 pm at the Cathedral.


DYD Swim Meet
Show support of the Cathedral's Swim team by attending the Diocesan Youth Department's 8th Annual Swim Meet on Saturday, June 17th, 2017.
